Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated October 30, 2026
JFT Prep works because the practice material is original and the accounts are personal. This policy says what you may not do, and what happens if you do. It is part of our terms of use.
What JFT Prep is for
Use JFT Prep to prepare for the JFT-Basic yourself: take the practice and mock tests, review your answers, read the guides and use the tools. Teachers may point students to our pages and share links freely.
No scraping or redistributing our tests
Don't copy, download in bulk, screenshot and repost, translate and republish, or sell our questions, audio, explanations or mock tests, in print, in an app, in a group chat, on social media or anywhere else.
Don't use bots, scrapers or scripts to collect content or answers, and don't try to get around the limits on free content or a paid plan.
No account sharing
An account is for one person. Don't share your login, sell or lend access, or let a school, agency or group use one paid account for several learners. Contact us at [email protected] if you need access for a class.
No cheating at the real test
Don't use JFT Prep to cheat at the official JFT-Basic. That includes posting, asking for or sharing questions remembered from a real test, offering or using impersonation (someone else taking the test for you), and offering or using hidden devices or outside help at a test centre.
Cheating breaks the test rules set by the Japan Foundation and Prometric, and it is unfair to every honest candidate. If you send us real exam content, we will not publish it, and we may close your account.
Don't misuse the service
Don't try to break into accounts or systems, overload the site, test its security without permission, upload malware, or use it to send spam or harmful content.
Don't pretend to be JFT Prep, the Japan Foundation or Prometric, or use our name to sell test seats, jobs or visas.
What happens if you break this policy
Depending on how serious it is, we may warn you, remove content, limit features, or suspend or close your account. Accounts closed for a serious breach, such as reselling our tests or sharing paid access, are not refunded. Where the law requires it, we may report illegal activity to the authorities.
Report misuse
If you see our material being copied or sold, or someone offering to cheat at the JFT-Basic using our name, email [email protected] with a link or screenshot. We read every report.
